Bridgette has parallel background to Bruce Wayne (Nolan only), as she is his female counter part from another dimension. Her past changes, however, when she decides to join Ra's al Ghul in his plans to 'save' Gotham. Once she realizes exactly what they are and the people, even the innocent, will die, she kills Ra's and takes on the identity of Batman. She starts to date Jac White, a female form of the Joker, who isn't a criminal, but a slightly disturbed friend. Bridgette starts a secret affair with Jim Gordon, only to become pregnant with his child. Jac, a jealous lover, kills Gordon and Bridgette loses the child early from the stress. She does not turn Jac in, she instead covers up for her and takes her in. Bridgette soon after comes out to the public as Batman, changing her name to Batwoman and gaining a government contract to clean up Gotham at any costs. She has no problem killing and only gives criminals one warning. Years later, she breaks from Jac and manages to find her way over to Bruce's dimension where she helps him in any way she can. She's hoping to start over.
